“Death of a Neighborhood Witch” by Laura Levine

After finishing Laura Levine’s Killer Cruise yesterday, I took another trip out to the library and grabbed another one of her books. Again, Levine did not disappoint!

Death of a Neighborhood Witch is another Jaine Austen mystery. This time, it’s Halloween and one of Jaine’s neighbours, a cranky old woman who played a witch on a TV show decades ago, turns up dead. Everyone hated the old witch so the entire neighbourhood is full of suspects, but all signs point to Jaine. After turning up to a Halloween party in a gorilla costume and taking it off halfway through the night, the murderer conveniently puts on Jaine’s gorilla costume while committing the crime. All the while, a new neighbour moves into town and Jaine and her neighbour/best friend, Lance, fight over his affects. Can Jaine solve the mystery and get her man? Grab a copy of Death of a Neighborhood Witch and find out for yourself!

Happy reading! 🙂
